This is one of Google’s announcements at CES 2024: starting now, every Chromecast device (dongle or built-in) can cast TikTok videos from a phone or tablet.
It doesn’t include TikTok LIVE videos for now but it will later this year.
This is what it looks like and how to do it on your phone: click on the “Share” icon and you should see the “Cast” option now available for your device. (see screenshot below)
Another coming feature for Chromecast and Google TV devices is Fast Pair. Already available on Android phones and Chromebooks, it lets you quickly find and connect nearby compatible Bluetooth headphones or speakers and easily switch between your device and default TV audio.
